Handcrafted Gemstone Tree Sculptures
To make using your favor tags and placecards easier I have included a brief tutorial and Microsoft Word templates to make it a breeze! These favor and place card templates will work with all tags but the horse shape. The Wish Tag templates may need to be trimmed to fit some shapes. Please keep in mind that if you choose a dark color of cardstock such as midnight or fudge that you will have to use opaque labels. Many label supply stores carry full sheet silver and gold foil label paper along with white that can also be used with the same template.

To create your labels I recommend full sheet labels that are crystal clear. Most of the labels found at office supply stores have a more frosted look but would work as well. I purchased my clear full sheet labels from www.DesktopStore.com where you can find them for both laser and inkjet printers. You will also need a printer and a paper trimmer or scissors. The files are for use in Microsoft Word.

To begin choose the file for your project and save it to your computer:
Favors - 72 labels per sheet
Placecards - 45 labels per sheet
Wish Tree Tags - 15 labels per sheet - may need to be trimmed to fit some sizes

Open the file and you will see one sheet already set up in a grid format. Fill your information into each box using the font of your choice. You can completely fill each box but any text that is too large to fit will be cut off.

Once you have created your labels as you would like them load your label sheets into your printer. You may want to do a test print on a plain sheet of paper marked with an x on one side to see what direction your labels will need to be inserted into the machine. Some will require the print side up and others print side down.

Print off as many sheets as needed.

Next use your paper trimmer or scissors to cut the labels apart. There should be very light cutting guidelines when you print out your pages. These will help you place your cuts but I recommend cutting them off so they dont show up around the edges of the labels.

Finally peel and stick to your cutouts! I like to use a credit card to smooth the labels down on the paper to get a better stick and smoother look.
